About Me:

   My name is Marisa Gutierrez, and I am a licensed cosmetologist and a freelance makeup artist. I am 22 years old and was born in Corpus Christi Tx, . I moved to Victoria Tx when I was about 6 years old and have lived here ever since. My first passion was dancing and singing. I wanted to be a pop star growing up, but of course that has changed and now I want to be known for a pro MUA! 

   About 14 years ago my mother was diagnosed with MS (multiple sclerosis). It  ruins your nerves system but is different for everyone. Sadly do to this condition my mother lost all ability in her legs and right arm. I learned how to use hair tools and makeup at the young age of 8 to help my mother get ready, and grew to love everything about it. I find my mothers MS story important because it became my story as well of what inspires me everyday to do what I enjoy and love. Not only do I learn the artistry behind cosmetic beauty, I also learn inner beauty and what its like to make people feel confident and beautiful in their own skin. 

   I am the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gutierrez, I have 1 older brother and 2 beautiful huskies named Luna & Kiba. I graduated from Victoria East Highschool 2019 and went to Aveda Art Institution Corpus Christ for my beauty education in 2020. I am currently a cosmetic rep at HEB and do freelancing on the side.
